About the Role
Safety Manager is responsible for inspecting construction job sites and enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations, acts and standards. Responsible for recording all safety deficiencies and violations and working with the project team on corrective action needs to occur in order for the project to progress safely. Must have thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal safety statutes including the regulations of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Joint Commission Standards. Must be familiar with construction processes and documentation. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to maintain good working relationships with all clients, project team, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
